1:1 Behaviour Support in Warwickshire for Dogs Who Struggle With Grooming, Handling & Vet Visits
Making everyday care easier – from brushing and nail clipping to vet exams and vaccinations.
In-person support available in Leamington Spa, Warwick, Rugby, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas

It can be really stressful when...
...your dog hates being handled by you, your vet or the groomer
You dread routine appointments because you know they’ll need to be muzzled or 'taken out back'. At home, you put off brushing or nail clipping, even though you know it needs doing – because it feels like such a battle. All you want is for your dog to calmly accept handling so you can keep them healthy and comfortable.
The key is to teach your dog that they have a choice – that being touched isn’t something scary to resist, but a positive experience they can opt into.
That’s where I come in. Using only kind, ethical methods grounded in a deep understanding of dog behaviour, I’ll help your dog learn to cooperate with everyday grooming and vet procedures – so they’re no longer a big deal for either of you.

Why choose me?
Dogs who struggle with handling often don’t fit neatly into boxes – and a one-size-fits-all approach just won’t work. I specialise in supporting 'out of the mould' dogs, taking the time to understand their unique history, triggers, and needs. My tailored, evidence-based approach is built around cooperative care – giving your dog choice and helping them feel safe with everyday procedures. Together, we’ll build their confidence and turn stressful grooming and vet visits into calmer, more manageable experiences – while giving you the skills and reassurance to handle real-life situations with confidence.

Built on cooperative care
This package is based on the principles of cooperative care – a method trusted by vets and trainers worldwide to help dogs feel safe and willing during handling. It’s not about forcing compliance – it’s about building trust and choice.

-
You’d value working with a qualified professional who will treat both you and your dog with kindness and respect
